Classification Society Conference

This society studies classification and clustering (in statistics terms), or supervised and unsupervised learning of categorical data (in machine learning terms). The society played a large role in the historical development of clustering methodology. Our plenary speakers are Rob Tibshirani (Stanford) and Michael Jordan (Berkeley).
